@ that anon: we don’t really know if the kids were that great as adults? Like yeah, alpha Rose and Dave were badass anti-fascists, but mom and bro were badasses too. Jake thinks fondly of grandma, but I mean, Jade never knew what a dick grandpa was. We know little about their actual personalities and how socially well-adjusted they were, or how Rose and Dave would have fared as parents. I mean, Rose DID leave Roxy a pile of liquor and Dave DID leave Dirk a pile of useless soda (irony maybe?)

That IS true, when it comes to their personal achievements they did a lot of good stuff but all of what they did with their children was by Proxy, I wonder how Rose and Dave would’ve been actually physically raising them…
