I read the full pastebin version of the hussie interview and even though I'm on anon I'm a little ashamed to admit I don't understand quite a bit of it and would like to request some of your "examination!" Most of the confusing bits are at the beginning, talking about farce and metatheology or something? And the nature of the story and all that. Also the cat and mouse stuff, the coming of age stuff, oh man this is a lot of questions. Thank you so much for always being helpful!!!
Homestuck is a story about Kids growing up in a hostile reality, with a lot of symbolism that delve deep into everything from philosophy to theology, while still being rooted in a sort of absurdist comedy. I can’t really offer much more than an examination on that, there’s a lot of themes to unpack on the entire comic, and stuff that is meaningless and just for fun at the same time- I’d wait for the next Books to come out for the Commentary, they’re very likely to delve into this stuff more.
