There’s a bit of a distinction to be made when it comes to Lordship! Because, see, if we go by the rules of Paradox Space, everyone has their desires met at several points in the story, their wills influence reality in a way that makes what they want happen in some way. Sometimes in more oblique ways, sometimes earlier in their arcs rather than towards the ending, sometimes as a monkey’s paw wish. Homestuck argues that as long as you push on, you will realize your desires in due time, and also that you will get a karmic retribution if you’re an asshole.

When it comes to the Lord specifically, though, this is kind of… Amplified. A Lord’s Mastery over their Aspect, the way the Aspect bows to aid them, rather than simply having their desires influence reality, their desires are reality, their presence shapes everything related to their Aspect around them, shapes the way that Aspect will interact with others around them. They may still have challenges to overcome and desires that are unmet, but when they are met, they will shape the way others around them interact with whatever set of circumstances they’ve left behind.

Of course this is in a more story-wise, fantastic kind of outlook. Being a Lord IRL and also having things like that luckily fall in place is.
