If you plan on responding to a Strider prompt (or really, any character that doesn’t explicitly state the details of their appearance, but Striders especially), when writing your response:
- Don’t call them blond
- Don’t call them blond
- Ask your partner for their headcanon appearance
- Depending on their answer, then call them blond
- Stop assuming that just because a certain detail is popular it automatically means you can throw it in for any roleplay you want
- Ambiguous details like the colour of skin and hair does not mean that white = blond and black = black; there are other lighter/darker hair colours in existence and hair dye is a thing
For real, I usually just fucking sigh and go ahead with it because I don’t want to get into it but it has started actively bugging me.
