Hello, hi! I’m currently taking commissions for the style I did my crk gijinkas in. The price is $40, and my no-no’s are NSFW and… you can ask. I’m a-ok with furries and additional characters cost half the price! ($20)
Your art style is soo unique. Love it. Can you explain how commissioning works?
Thank you so much, anon!! π₯Ί and thank you for askingβ for me personally, I’d like my clients to hit me up with a dm expressing they want to commission me, and be ready with references for what they want me to draw. I don’t do commissions based off descriptions at the moment (I consider that a character design commission and would like to be compensated), so at the very least I’ll need references for the character I’ll be drawing. Then, references for the pose you’d want them in, though I wouldn’t say no to giving me the freedom to choose ;)
After we’ve discussed the details (at which point either party can cancel the commission), the client will pay me upfront through paypal. Meaning, I won’t be starting the drawing at all until I get paid. Then at that point, I’ll be sending a WIP every now and again for the client’s approval, though I don’t accept major changes past the sketch. A little strict, but it’s my way of avoiding getting scammed π so be prepared and upfront with what you want!
But it’s different for every artist. So I suggest doing some research on their account first before attempting to contact them. While most of us accept correspondence through dms, there are plenty who prefer their clients to fill out forms, immediately provide details upon the initial dm, etc. This is just my way of doing it! And as a reminder, I currently only do commissions in my crk gijinka style. Be aware of what services your artist is providing, too!
