I’m in the midsts of re-watching all of Slayers, having just finished TRY. NEXT will always be my favourite (probably one of my favourite anime series ever), that series is filled with so many good characters, I wish some of them had more screen time. Specially that red head you see yonder, Demon Dragon King Gaav. I think this guy might be the reason I have such a hard on for Ganon… having played the Zelda games after watching Slayers. HMMMM.. the plot thickens.
Doing some fanart of one of my favorite anime characters ever. Maybe I’ll do one of Zelgadis next, it’s been a while since I’ve drawn him. :<

Not all is smooth sailings, as Ganon grows up with and befriends the spritely Link and incorrigible Zelda during their adventures together; he slowly begins to re-gain the memories of his former life and his betrayal. When his demonic betrayer appears at the royal palace, Link and Ganon must save their friend and princess; but while Link and Ganon must work together to protect Zelda from the demon, as Ganon regains his former self, will Link be able to protect her from Ganon?”

This is one of the only images that I’ve drawn Orias in. He doesn’t really look like he should at all.. we had no real references for him at the time I was painting this, so yeah… Actually none of the characters are super accurate. Llev is front and center, Makura is in the reflection of the rosary, Orias is the large white character at the bottom, Yhihre is the tiny little glowing chick at the top and Tobias is the red head with the keys. The tower in the BG is Mephistopholese’ Tower on the Eighth Layer of Hell that’s the width of several cities and has it’s own weather system. The higher you go up the tower the more noble the class gets. The lowest areas of the tower are dedicated to the miners and lower class workers.
An older bunch of sketches I did of Felix from FDA, being adorable and mischievous. I’m still kind of fond of these. ;3;
