I just… don’t need another angry-sad-dad with coming-of-age-son story. I like vikings, but i like insane smash em up kratos from the originals way more. There aren’t a lot of games like that anymore and i feel it filled a very particular and fun niche, along with DMC.

Sloppy dialogue, poor exposition, pointless characters, repetitive maps and monsters, back-tracking: the game. I know tales games are campy, but they don’t usually treat me like a complete moron. I feel like the writers forgot their own plot point reveals several times, because information would be stated, everyone would react in shock, and then ten minutes later it would be revealed AGAIN, and all the characters would act like it was new information. This happened too many times to count | It had a lot of potential, but i hated it | … I really liked Eizen though.
