Boredom was something the lawbringer often felt when she wasn’t shooting something or being shot at- though not that many days passed her by without her managing to cause some kind of trouble. Still, it’s the reason she finds herself traversing the rather unnecessarily complicated hallways of the yellow clad Helios. Now it was just a matter of finding that well dressed code monkey-

“Alright Jack. I got a proposition for you. If you can pry your handsome self away from that important work of yours, I’ll consider showing you the best place to get a good drink on Pandora. Or you know you can stay in your stuffy office while I make friends with Helios’ wiring system. …Hmm… what happens if I pull on this~?”

Jack spares her a look from under the fingers resting on his forehead as she enters his office, his smouldering cigarette hanging limply from his mouth. He’s spent the last three nights straight tinkering with some new prototype designs and his new security integration for the space station, and it’s been more than a little stressful. But once he gets it finished, there won’t be anything that happens within Helios’ walls that can be hidden from Angel’s, and subsequently his, eyes.

“Y’know, I’d really love to pumpkin but I uhh– woah hey!!” He yanks himself from his blueprints just in time to grip her wrist and keep her from messing up anything important in the exposed panel. Normally, he loves her destructive side, but it’s taken him a lot of sleepless nights to get that all working properly. He sighs, pushes the thick-rimmed glasses he uses for reading back up his long nose, and looks down at her.
“Alright, fine. But only if you promise to get, absolutely friggin’ smashed with me.”

kadamkills:

A hiss escapes her throat as she feels his fingers tighten around her wrist.  It was almost instinctive to give him a hard knock to the jaw, but luckily from him she’s more distracted by those thick rims framing his face. It wasn’t everyday she witness the Hyperion in a rather casual state. She had to stifle a laugh as she watched him push up his glasses-  truly fitting for the whole “nerd” shtick she was sure Jack was more accustomed to than he led on. .

Quickly a free hand rises up, claiming a defined jaw between her fingers as she presses just lightly enough to elicit some discomfort. “As long as you fix yourself up a bit. Not that I mind this new look of yours but how am I sposed to show you off round’ town if you look like you just woke up?” Her grip loosens, fingers tracing across his cheek and upwards to brush back a fallen piece of hair.

“By the time we’re through you’ll be face down in a skag hole-” Her fingers intertwine with thick brunette locks, gripping tightly before letting go as she matched with her wicked tone. “Now go put on somethin’ nice or else I’m gonna have to dress ya myself.”

Jack sticks his bottom lip out, pouting between her fingers. He doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with his appearance, he’s gone to corporate meetings looking more disheveled than this, but the idea of Nisha showing him off is too good for him to pass up. He smirks behind her unusually tender gesture before reaching up to take his glasses off and toss them haphazardly across his desk.
“Right. Gotta be bright and shiny, huh? I mean, more than I usually am, obviously.” He grins down with all his teeth.

“…Skag hole? Is that a uh, euphemism? ‘Cause if it is, I’m thinkin’, maybe I should go grab a little more than a change of clothes.” He laughs to himself. The hair pull has him wincing, and he flicks the bottom of her mauve cowboy hat in retaliation before slipping out of her range to close his work for later.
“I’ll head upstairs to clean up, aaaand–” He swivels back to face her, finger guns pointed in her direction. “You, can meet me in the Hub in ten.”

He slides in close until he’s mere inches away from the cowgirl, with bedroom eyes and coffee-heavy breath, inviting and mischievous.
“Unless– you want to take all my clothes off yourself.”

kadamkills:

Briefly the phrase “you wish” flutters through her thoughts but her focus shifts as she feels the subtle movement of her hat. Did he just? And there he went just out of grasp. The gunslinger gives props to his gal but she’s in just the right mood to put him in his place. Still he returns to an arms reach (probably not the best desicion after being so cheeky) and amber eyes ignite with a trademark wickedness.

Touching the hat was a privilege, not a right and she was gonna teach him the laws set in place. Idle fingers lift upwards, feigning a small gesture to even out the shoulder of his shirt as he spoke. She takes a moment to pause after he’s done speaking before her eyes flicker to meet his gaze. In one quick second the gunslinger slams his back into the wall, pinning him there with her forearm against his chest.

A free hand slides down to her holster, unclipping the pistol with ease as she slowly drags the weapon up and presses it lightly against his jaw. “You’re walkin’ into dangerous territory, Hyperion boy” Her voice accentuates the nickname with syrupy malice, eyes narrowing slightly as her smirk matches the tone. Her knee rises to meet the center of his jeans, adding enough pressure so her control wasn’t to be questioned. Leaning closer she mutters just softly enough so he can hear her clearly.

“Think you’re getting a little too big for your britches there, partner~”

He yelps as his back meets cold and unyielding metal, staring dumbly at the arm pinning him in place and forcing his lungs to work harder under it’s pressure for a few moments before his brain finally registers what’s going on.

“Uhh–heh–” He laughs nervously, tilting his head back as the muzzle of her pistol kisses his jawline. He shrugs as much as he can under her grip, a witty excuse on the tip of his tongue that quickly raises several octaves with the knee to his crotch.

Any normal person would take the gun to their face and risk of injury below the belt as a warning, but this is Handsome Jack, and there’s nothing Handsome Jack loves more than challenging authority.  He’s the friggin’ boss, after all.
“Yeah?” He breathes in a low whisper, “They are feeling kinda tight. Maybe I should, uh– y’know. Take ‘em off.” He slides his hips forward, subtly grinding  the front of his jeans against the law-bringer’s leg. Whatever punishment Nisha decides to bestow on him for that little action, they are definitely going to be late.

This is it. The battle to end all battles. And finally, he has the upper hand.

He moves swiftly through the corridors, stepping over the bodies that litter the floor with an ease that can only come with practice. He’s had this battle many times before— but this time, he was certain that he was going to win– for sure.

He readies his weapon, hands steady and breathing even as he turns a corner, quickly searching for any signs of life and then continuing on when he spots none. The enemy is around here somewhere; he can feel her watching him, and it makes the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. When a shiver crawls down his spine, it’s not just because of the air temperature of the space station.

He hears a noise kitty corner to his position, and he swivels around to confront it. There’s no sign of movement, not even a swaying leaf on the geometric bushes, but he doesn’t let his guard down for even a second. He knows he’s being hunted, and if he doesn’t kill first, he’s going to end up dead just like the rest.

He spends too long scanning– it was an obvious trap and he should have known better, but his hubris is always his downfall, and he tenses at the feel of something sharp pressed to the base of his skull.

Jack drops his hands in defeat, fingers unfolding from their gun position and cursing under his breath.
     “Alright– ya got me.”

kadamkills:

Tensions are high, and the stakes? Well the stakes are higher. Watching and waiting isn’t usually her style, a more “guns blazing” technique fancying her a bit more, but this called for more finesse. A careful hand and nimble footing, both which she’d be more than happy to provide. After all losing wasn’t an option. Their opponents had already been mowed down- quite quickly to no surprise but him…>

He put up quite a fight. She’d make sure to give him props when he was 6 feet under.

From a distance she watched quietly waiting for him to move and then, yes then, he gave her the perfect opening. It takes her only a few moment to snake out of the shadows, placing her cocked “gun” into thick brown locks.

A wicked purple grin paints itself across her expression, leaning in so she was inches from his ear when she exhaled the word “BANG!-” with genuine glee. The giddy laugh that escapes her throat only adds insult to injury, moving her gun shaped digits to her lips to give a little blow before she motions to “re-holster” that oh so dangerous pistol.

“They don’t call me the best shot on Pandora for nothin’ cowboy ehe, buuut you put up a decent fight- shouldn’t feel too bad~”

Jack mimes actually being shot in the head, wailing and ever the drama queen, until he’s spun around to face the cowgirl. He’d be more upset about losing if she wasn’t so hot when she beat him. He makes a show of rolling his shoulders, stretching out his arms and pulling an exaggerated nonchalant face, swiping a thumb over his nose.
“Yeah, well. You know me. Always top of the barrel.”

He wiggles the thumb hammers of his ‘guns’ as he points them at her. The game might be over, but he can’t resist doing his favorite ‘I’m going to charm the pants off of you’ move. It usually works on Nisha. Sometimes. Okay he won’t lie, it probably doesn’t work at all– but he can dream

He balances on a foot to lean in her direction, giddy from the game and full of that violent energy he gets specifically when Nisha’s around. He wants to kiss her and push her into the closest fountain at the same time and it frustrates the hell out of him. He wonders if that’s why they have so much sex or if it’s because they’re both just insatiable as hell. Probably both.

But the ‘battle’ has made him more than just the usual horny, and he tries to think of any decent take out places on Helios, but comes up short. He’d really have to do something about that. He puts on his best ‘pretty please’ face.
“How ‘bout you and I blow this popsicle stand and get something to eat that isn’t freeze-dried crap?”

kadamkills:

His theatric display only proves to feed her growing ego over the win as another euphoric laugh bubbles from her throat. Briefly she wondered how pretty that handsome grin would look dripping with a fresh coat of actual blood…

But the thought only conjures another even more wicked idea. Nisha’s high from the win, and not quite ready to let her play end just yet as tempting as Helios cuisine was. There’s just something about the programmer that makes her want to hurt em’ oh so lasciviously. .

“Mm… or you know, we could-” She places her pistol against his thigh, pressing the metal gently a little too close to his groin. “Up the ante a little?” The mischievous smile transcends any malicious intent she had. After all, she wasn’t keen on killing the guy- he was far too entertaining. Still, a little blood and gunpowder? Now that was an aphrodisiac

“You’re always goin on and on about how “accurate” those Hyperion guns are compared to good ol’ fashioned Jakob’s pistols, so why don’t we put it to the test? Winner take all, the title of “Best Shot on Helios” and hell aha- I’ll even consider replacing my trusty Maggie.

“’N’less, you’re scared-

The closed mouth, throaty noise that comes out of Jack is high-pitched indeed when gun metal meets one of his more sensitive areas. His first reaction is to wrap a hand around hers, but his second wave of survival instincts kick in and he just hovers close instead, fingers ghosting over the fabric covering her wrist.
“Up the uh– ante?” He’s distracted by the gun and her smile, but after a few seconds it dawns on him and he makes an audible ‘oooh’ sound, smirk pulling dangerously at his lips.

He fiddles with his personal digistruct module as she talks, spawning in his favorite pistol, (Hyperion of course). The thought has him even more excited, there’s nothing hotter than Nisha in her element. Her element just happens to involve a lot of blood and bodily mutilation. But the prospect of Nisha giving up her favored and trusty pistol for something he designed is too damn good to pass up. Even if she is bullshitting him. ( He wants the damn thing on his trophy shelf more than he wants most things. )
“Mm, you had me at ‘Hyperion’.”

“I hope you don’t intent on using real bullets cause ah– I don’t really think we’re at the stage of our relationship to be trying to kill each other. I mean, I’m pretty sure that’s after the breakup phase. Going from uh, previous experience.” The thought of Moxxi puts a sour taste in his mouth and he swallows it down. Why cry over spilled milk when he has a tall glass of whiskey right in front of him?

“Hologram? Ooor, we can digistruct some non-lethals from the barracks. Up to you, schnookums.” He cocks his pistol, holding it high by his side and gives her a haughty, ‘I’m about to whoop your ass like it’s heavy cream’ look.
“How much d’ya want it to hurt ?”

It was funny for the first few minutes but it’s been a half an hour now and if you keep following me you’re going to be r e a l l y sad when I break your toy.

You obviously don’t appreciate Tom Jones like I do. Ooh– what about Rick Astley? I’m sure I gotta mix tape around here somewhere… Or, y’know, I could just do my own rendition. I’m never gonna give you up, Nish’, never gonna let you doooown——

The sound that escapes Jack’s throat is almost too good for Nisha to pass up on- but luckily (or unluckily depending) for Jack the gunslinger’s claws are currently too deep in another nefarious plot. Once he gets the picture a quiet and throaty laugh bubbles from her lips. He caught on pretty fast- good. Nisha didn’t have the patience for repeating herself.

As Jack grips the pistol’s handle, the lawbringer can’t help but note he doesn’t look half bad with a weapon between those fingers… only coming second to a throat of course. The prospect of having Maggie to show off sealed the deal and that look he was giving only cemented his intent to win. “Mm, nah can’t kill ya yet, handsome. We’ve got loooaadds of more fun to have.” A feral gaze narrows wickedly. Pursing purple lips she seems to mull over the idea (of murder) in her thoughts before she spins the weapon between her fingers and aims.

Without hesitation she lets off a shot, zinging past Jacks head and nestling itself in the steel wall behind them both. With the now hot barrel of her gun she tilts his chin up, curious (and amused) eyes tracing his face for signs of discomfort. The telling grin on her maw screamed lethal intent while a rough grip on yellow fabric pulled him closer. “Lots” Her voice is candy coated venom, sweet to the ears and downright malicious at its core but her answer is clear.

The more hurt, the better.

A few moments pass, her gaze locked on him and cooling metal still pressed up against his skin before she shoves him back playfully with a laugh. “Tick tock, tick tock lover boy. Better get some of those fancy bullets of yours before I start usin’ my own.

Jack can only blink as the bullet whizzes by his head, narrowly avoiding scratching his perfect new face. He’s gotten pretty used to being shot at ever since the thing with the Lost Legion, and his ex-girlfriends threaten him with bodily harm all the time, so, he’s proud of the fact that he’s managed to suppress his flinch.
“Whoa-ho-ho, easy there, kitten. Playing before the whistle blows, very naughty.” He hisses, the metal of the muzzle burning under his chin and clicking against the clasp there. He recovers with coy-lidded eyes and a smirk, a sliver of white teeth cutting through his nervousness at the prospect of gun fighting with Nisha Kadam. As fun as he knows it’ll be, he also knows that the odds really aren’t in his favor. Like, at all. But he’s good at beating odds. Good luck, champ.

Her voice, thick and heavy like syrup, makes his skin crawl in the best of ways, and he almost trips over himself when she shoves him backwards. He brushes the front of his shirt down in a sore gesture, and rubs the painful warmth from the underside of his chin.
“Alright, alright, have some patience, pumpkin.” His voice bounces with his usual amount of sarcasm, but he does put in the command to digistruct some ammo. The non-lethals, he’s decided. And maybe some med-hypos. And the really expensive kind of booze. It’s gonna be a fun night.
