Slurred words.
At this point Jack has more or less burned out, the alcohol having done it’s work and warmed his insides and has since then left, leaving him feeling dizzy and slightly cold. He’s slumped over his desk, head resting on his arm as he searches for coherent language.
“Mmmn—- Nish’ is– Nisha is, uh, nice. Well, y’know not nice, but uh– I like her. Like, a lot. Who-o-ole lot.” He trails off, clicking his tongue.
“She’s fuckin’ amazing. I’d goddamned marry her if I hadn’t fuckin’– crashed that train straight into th’ ground already. Marriage is stupid anyway who wants to be tied down, amiright? Is’sa fuckin’ stupid–”
He runs a tired hand through his hair.
“What ah– what th’fuck was I sayin’? Oh yeah– Nish’. I’ll say it right here, right now– goddamn love that woman, and I don’t care who knows it.“
