This had colour at one point, but then I hated it and continued my never-ending love affair with red + white + black. Alright, then.

It’s dangerous to go alone. Here, have a detective that was drawn in the corner of the thing(s) I’m colouring right now, just to break up all the werewolves that are happening.

Verbena | Mountain Ash | Fraxinella | Wolfsbane

Finally got around to finishing this thing sjadkjsa. This was originally just going to be the humans, but then I felt I needed to draw Peter with Stiles and Lydia, because I am a horrible person.

Verbena for Allison because every one of the meanings I found apply to her, I think, even after her Face Heel Turn (family union, sensibility, sensitiveness, regret, pray for me). Mountain Ash and Wolfsbane for Stiles and Lydia respectively for obvious reasons, but also Mountain Ash means “I watch over you.” Stiles.

Peter’s may be in poor taste, because Fraxinella is a plant that during the summer gets covered in this gooey shit that is highly flammable. I COULDN’T HELP MYSELF OKAY. Also it has leaves like an Ash tree (which Rowan/Mountain Ash has too, despite not being an Ash itself). Plants, man.

I apologize for any likely inaccuracies with the flowers and shit. I remembered partway through this that oh right, I really hate drawing plants. Good job, me.

jfdhskjf thank you! I actually do most of my inking by hand! I only do digital inking when I am feeling lazy, because 99% of the digitally inked stuff here were cell phone pictures that I went over in SAI, ‘cause I didn’t feel like digging my scanner out.

Basically you can tell how lazy I am by how many digitally inked things there are at any given time.

In all honesty, I am really terrible at inking digitally. I think it’s because of the lack of traction on tablets, or the fact that I’m focusing on a screen rather than on what my hands are doing? I don’t know. The only reason why my digital lines are smooth at all is because SAI (which I use for inking!) has a handy Stabilizer tool, which can keep all the jitters out if you set it right. I think Photoshop has a similar feature? I don’t really know my way around PS;;

When it comes to traditional inking, I know it’s kind of an cliche thing to say, but all I can think of to recommend is practice! I’ve always been really hyper-focused on line cleanliness, even when my art was entirely Really Terrible Shoujo (because that was a thing that happened). So it’s a thing I spent a lot of time going at. Even now I’ll look at my lines and go THAT IS NOT AS CLEAN AS I WANT IT AUGH and then sulk for the rest of the day, like the class act I am.

tbh it’s nothing cool or fancy! I just messed around with the pen + marker + water tools until I got something resembling what I wanted. 8D;;

For traditional art, I use these guys!

For digital art, I primarily use SAI. We have a very good relationship going there. Photoshop and I are a bit rocky, and I mostly just use it to clean things up after scanning, for textures, and for a lot of comic business, like panels and pretty much everything relating to dialogue.

Thank youuu! I always get a bit giddy when folks say good things about colouring because it’s something that I have trouble with sometimes. BLACK AND WHITE IS SO MUCH EASIER augh.

I have this headcanon (that will inevitably be Jossed, of course) that every time someone touches his wrist, Stiles has a flash of panic. And that for some time, Lydia point blank refuses to go into the Hale house.

They form something of a buddy system, so neither of them get stuck around Peter, though Lydia doesn’t know why Stiles would want to avoid him, and at first thinks he has an ulterior motive. When she asks him why he’s helping her, he evades answering, which only makes her even more wary, and even though they still stick together, she closes herself off.

Eventually Stiles fesses up and tells her about Peter’s offer. And, that if Peter were to ask again, he’s not entirely sure he’d be able to say no.

I am not a fan of Stiles/Lydia as a romantic pairing at all, but I think they’d make good friends.

I did this in somewhere around an hour while I was waiting to leave for a concert hsjakhkdsffkd pardon my mess. Flowers are a bit of a call back to that set I drew, because of reasons.

I was thinking about doing more of the cast, actually! I haven’t decided yet, but that might be a thing I try to do in the future, at some point. I actually have a list of TW fanart I am doing/want to do because I’ve lost control of my life, so I’m doing.. many other things. But if I got the inspiration/drive to do more, I’d go for it. :D

I accidentally a Star Wars AU.

It started with a stray thought of “ha ha scott is totally luke” and then thinking that Stiles imo, instead of Han, is kind of more of an Anakin you know, if he had a personality in the movies, and. Well.

General idea that I got while inking it is that Scott and Stiles were Derek and Laura’s padawans respectively. Laura and Stiles went on a training exercise together, and something went terribly wrong as things are wont to do. Laura was killed and Stiles went missing/is presumed dead. Few years later, Scott and Derek go on what’s supposed to just be a reconnaissance mission and end up in a battle with a Sith and his apprentice: Peter and Stiles.

I really should draw something other than werewolves for once.
