A while back, I had read a ficlet where it turned out that werewolves were immortal, and eventually Stiles took the bite, only for it to kill him. I don’t remember where I read it or who wrote it, sorry!! Bree wrote it! But the fic is gone now. Sad!  But it spawned this dumb AU idea that I’ve been sitting on for a while.

Same deal: werewolves are immortal (though obvs they can still be killed). Stiles, being an overprotective turd when it comes to the people he actually gives two shits about, doesn’t want to leave them alone and unprotected when he inevitably kicks it. He could take the bite, but he knows that it could kill him. 

He eventually finds a ritual that would make him immortal, but the cost (because there always is one) is that he’ll never be able to leave Beacon Hills. He goes through with it, figuring, at the time, that the benefits outweigh the cost. Over the years, Beacon Hills develops urban myths about wolves and people who don’t seem to age out in the woods.

Stiles has absolutely no buyers remorse over his immortality, up until he fails to save the pack and they’re wiped out, and he’s left alone in Beacon Hills, unable to die or leave.

Some flowers and junk that get pretty lost in there, since colouring them looked overwhelming: mountain ash as usual, amaranth, graphalium (never-ceasing memory), shepherd’s purse (i offer you my all), a few cicadas (tithonus). The tree was going to end up being yew, but obviously I got lazy, whoops.

Everything I was trying to ink wasn’t working out too well for me, so I started messing around in SAI instead of doing what I intended. Welp.

Inspired by the gr8 theory that Deucalion is the friend that Chris talks about in s1, but who hadn’t died from the bullet to the head and was instead blinded (btw I lost track of the original post, so if someone could drop me a link somewhere so i can link it, i’d be most grateful!)

Drew water because of the origins of his name. I think that Deucalion (or lbr whatever his name really is) and Chris weren’t much older than Scott and Stiles when it happened, so just drew a kind of anonymous looking dude. ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌

I broke 3k and I was gonna do a thing, but then I forgot to do a thing.

Finally got around to drawing Hannibal fanart. This is such a good show even though it stresses me out so much, oh god DON’T TALK TO ME ABOUT THE MOST RECENT EPISODE /ACTUALLY IN DENIAL

Assorted flowers/plants: cinquefoil (beloved child/daughter), mourning bride (i have lost all), mistletoe (i surmount all obstacles), sorrel (parental affection), cardamine (paternal error), and she’s wearing a  garland of asphodels.

So, not gonna lie, but the chances of me ever drawing Hannibal himself are preeeeetty slim. Will, maybe! I have an unfinished illustration of him that I’d done way early in the season. I’m way more likely to draw Beverly than Hannibal.

Hee! Thank you! I don’t have any ideas for more drawings in the mythology au atm. I’ve got like, a plot sort of mapped out and everything. But I ran into a brick wall, same a bit with Tween Wolf, short of drawing a bunch of kids looking sad again (though I do enjoy drawing a bunch of sad kids). SO WE’LL SEE.
