So, a thing happened
Some people already noticed this, but Welcome to Night Vale opened a new shop through Topatoco and I may or may not have something being sold in there.
It’s limited edition, so once they sell out, that’s all there is!

I got inspired by a bunch of role reversal AUs here on the toombles, ended up getting one stuck in my head. Melissa is a retired hunter and has been trying to keep Scott out of the supernatural, Allison gets bitten by Peter, Lydia’s the human/potential emissary (I CAN DREAM OKAY), both Derek and Cora are lurking around but Cora becomes the Alpha instead.
I was trying to figure out what to do with Stiles, since he’d end up switching places with Lydia, and I ended up making him a Drekavac, these spirits in Slavic folklore. There’s a lot of differing lore on what they look like, but I went with the version where they can look like human children (teenager/general human, whatever, in Stiles’ case) and can take the form of a fox. Their cries are omens of death, but depending on what form you’re hearing, it means two different things: human cry is for human death, fox cry is for animal death. (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
