Long time no see? (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ I haven’t drawn at all lately;; Anywho, I’ve been wanting to draw these three since the end of 3A.

One thing that got me, after Emily incepted me into telling her about the Norse world tree Yggdrasil, is that it has three roots supporting it, which lead to three wells/springs. And in Teen Wolf, there’s three characters who sacrifice themselves to what is, for all intents and purposes, a world tree. By drowning.

• Stiles got Mímisbrunnr, a well of knowledge, which Odin gave up his eye to in payment for a drink. Mímisbrunnr is guarded by Mímir, who was a friend of Odin. After Mímir got decapitated during the Æsir-Vanir war, Odin embalmed & enchanted his head so Mímir could still talk and started carrying it around with him. How codependent are you.
• Allison got Hvergelmir, which is uh, well. It’s full of snakes. But a thing of particular interest is that it’s also closely associated with Náströnd, an afterlife in Norse mythology for murderers and oathbreakers. Allison isn’t one, but nearly every member of her immediate family was.
• For Scott, he got Urðarbrunnr, the water of which is supposed to be holy. Odin and the other gods would gather there to hold court, and it’s also where the Norns lived. The Norns take water from Urðarbrunnr and pour it over the roots of Yggdrasil to keep it from rotting.
