I’m replaying Dragon Age: Origins right now because Dragon Age 2 is coming out, and I realized I never finished the first game! And I want to port decisions from it to DA2 instead of just going off of whatever the Bioware canon is.
This is a fast sketch of my mage, Sinéad, who is pretty bitter because she is like the holy trinity of discrimination in Ferelden (female/elf/mage). I also couldn’t remember what her tattoos looked like;;
Sinéad again, whoo. \o/ I drew this in the dark while lying in bed, which surprisingly didn’t turn out too bad even though I couldn’t see a thing, haha;; I couldn’t remember her tattoo again. Or her armor. Oops.
An old thing! One of my favorite albums ever is Hazards of Love by The Decemberists (who I am seeing again on June 13th! Whoo!), and I’ve had a few go’s at b&w illustrations of different songs. This was the first attempt at “The Hazards of Love 4 (The Drowned)”.
Started drawing my Grey Warden, Sinéad, again (and I actually started getting her tattoo right, though I didn’t finish it). She’s sort of unintentionally become a Blood Mage and of questionable allegiances because I was too lazy to take advantage of a bit of a glitch, and later I did something really mean because I wanted mad loot.
Quick sketch of Elain Hawke, my PC for Dragon Age 2. I unintentionally made her the opposite of Sinead, and given the ending of DA2, I want to do a picture with both of them now asdfghjkl whyyyy
Haaa, why am I awake still. Sinead, my Grey Warden, and Elain, my Hawke/Champion. Now that I know that if you played the human mage origin story for DA:O your Warden would be related to Hawke, I wish I hadn’t decided to be an elf. Ah well! I don’t think they’d be too happy if they learned Sinead was a blood mage, in any case.
I have been looking at this for too long while trying to figure out colors and now I am sick of it hahahdwhqjkrew
I was intending to draw a background of some kind, but then 6 AM rolled around and I decided “fuck it” because I know I won’t want to do this tomorrow.
I was wondering what Knight-Commander Meredith did during her downtime, and I decided that she reads trashy romance novels that Varric and Isabela write together, using their friends as fodder.
Right now she is reading The Knight and His Broadsword (you can thank Jessie for helping think of awful titles).
