AU Borderlands plot
After Jack is rescued by vault hunters in the beginning of pre sequel he turns a new leaf and is nice to people and fights to genuinely protect Pandora and his own company on Helios and doesn’t fuck with vaults anymore and he loves his daughter and acts like a real dad to Angel and everything is so nice and he buys a cat because he’s actually Timothy and Jack’s body will never be found
New alternative: Instead of deciding to kill Jack with the same degree of compassion and humanity he showed his scientists, Lilith decides to reach out and get him the therapy he needs to cope with his past abuse and mental disorders. In fact, everybody on Pandora gets mandatory therapy. Jack and Angel go to family counseling and he does not strangle the doctor when his wife is mentioned. Angel gets help with her siren powers. Everybody wins. Nobody dies, and Pandora is a better place overall. Jack’s legacy is realized.
