I love the symbolism in this scene. Whilst both Husk and Angel are bound and trapped by their contracts, Angel has a more messy and enveloping commitment to Valentino with some flexibility all around (being able to stay at the hotel and so on) whereas Husk is more tightly bound and his bindings are concentrated showing how Alastor has made a cleaner deal, yet Husk cannot get out of being a bartender at the hotel.

I really LOVE that part and I still wonder how it could affect on rhys in the future (if, you know, the 3 borderlands and ntftb wasn’t a complete trash and it was well written), I mean that’s a huge fucking burden, especially with “comparing to jack” thing
and I also believe that jack left him a gift of mental issues for sure, I think all of this could’ve brought rhys as an atlas ceo with this huge responsibility to a completely different character level - god I wish could see this instead of cringe-written twink death 💀💀💀

sometimes I think about how it would be cool if we got an animation series of Tftb with all the amazing features used in animation movies, for example I wish jack would be like jinny from aladdin and could shapeshift/do anything with his digital ghost body for trolling and creeping out rhys
