I love you and I love your art so much, but I do have to ask. Is there a particular reason you make Jack so light? I don't ask this to be mean, I'm genuinely just curious because Nisha always looks spot on. Again, I absolutely love your art and your style, I'm just indulging my curiosity <3

(I gotta say; at first I was like “Wait, is my Jack too skinny?” Lol. )
Anyway, about Jack’s skin color (that’s what you mean, right?)

I’ve stuck to the same color palette for Jack & Nisha since around 2015/2016 (Holy crap, that’s a long time of loving these two assholes). Occasionally, I play with the opacity of those colors, but now that you mention it, Jack does look kinda pale in my art.

The reasoning I had in 2015 was, “Damn… this man probably never leaves the big H in the sky. I bet he hisses when the sun touches his skin.” - and to be fair, I’m still 100% behind that statement, but when I look at it now, he might be too light, lmao.

I will probably play with his skin color a little more now! You’re onto something, anon!
