I needed a project to focus on obsessively for a couple of weeks, so I made an action figure for Rhys to match the shop-bought Handsome Jack. The base was a cut-price Mass Effect figure (Sara Ryder) with about the right hand size and height. The base figure was filed and sanded down, and the body built up with Milliput Black epoxy putty, which worked well. The head was built up with Milliput Fine white epoxy, carved down, then built up again and sanded. Painted with acrylic. Still a few details missing in paint (pinstripes, hands) but basically done.
This was pretty tiring and absorbing as a project (which was admittedly what I was going for.) I like the idea of a Nisha figure, but for the moment I’m totally wiped out.
