Heaven's Vault - Story Trailer | PS4

Just a follow-on from my last post, because I’m serious… anyone who enjoyed the dialogue-rich narrative in Tales, and loves Scifi with deeply-written lore should check out Heaven’s Vault. I have no links to the game or anything, I just love it, and feel it’s criminally under-exposed. It’s my game of the year.

Honestly, the trailers don’t give a true feel for Aliya’s character. Stubborn, abrasive, playful, sometimes bitter, often rude, driven by a near-foolhardy hunger to know. The story of AI within this universe is fascinating too, and without wishing to spoil anything it really complemented my playthrough of BL3. Then there’s way the lore of the Nebula is uncovered, piece by piece as you sift the places and fragments of the past: Sometimes it’s exciting, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes laden with dread. If I could have a Borderlands lore game that played like this I would cry.
