Since the Borderlands series is a scifi-western, I felt like drawing some of the TFTBL characters in old timey western garb for fun, for a semi Old West AU.

Some more Borderlands Old West AU sketches since I wanted to draw Angel again. In this AU Angel would be the daughter of a wealthy oil or railroad baron who’s trying to take over a western town.

What is your favourite scene from any of the borderlands games?

Ah! Hrmmm It’s hard to just pick one scene, since there’s so many that I enjoy a lot, but I guess my top fave sequence would definitely have to be the ridiculous finger guns fight in TFTBL since it’s just so wonderfully executed, and over the top. Some of my other faves, (albeit one being mainly lines of dialouge) would be Timothy’s dialogue in the Pre-sequel since he’s so precious and just needs a hug, as well as the cute but sad party for Clap-trap in BL2. Most of my other fave scenes are mainly from TFTBL since I really enjoyed the character building and use of rising tension in sequences like deciding to side with Jack or Fiona, and finally defeating AI Jack (which were done very well from a storytelling standpoint). Have some random sketches of some of my other faves!

Thank you so much!!! I love drawing that dorky boi, and he’s the best for drawing expressions. I have a lot of fun drawing fast silly sketches since it forces me to not overwork the expression, and instead maintain the sketch’s energy and initial emotion. Have a sweet Rhys and an extra process gif
