Hi! I love your art style and how you draw! I was wondering if you have any tips for making the poses you draw look so natural and fluid? When I draw anything lower than the head and shoulders it always looks so stiff 😫

There’s an art principle called line of action that can really help poses look more natural! Before I go into smaller details like muscles, fabric folds etc, I think about the pose as one big curve or shape. This Griz and Norm drawing below explains it really well! Also I recommend looking up “line of action” on YouTube! Lots of great tutorials there!

I gave him a rough sketch of the pose and helped tweak the arm muscles in Zbrush but the rest (aside from the models themselves) is all him!

He’s aliiiive!!! Some areas look a bit too hand painted but I’m still really proud of this hehehe. The amount of details on this old man tho uaagghhh…I’m surprised my eyes didn’t pop out lol. The process made me appreciate how much easier it is to make digital 2d art ;u;

Aww thank you anon! The paint job took me 1.5 months (it’s on and off but I definitely spent tens of hours at least) so it’ll be too challenging to make more copies ;-; As for the 3D file, it’s basically my husband’s work and he’s not interested in selling it. I’m so sorry ;-;
