Naked Bodies

Is it that mind boggling for people to find out, at some art schools, students have to stare at real bare naked bodies 3 hours daily for life drawing classes and no male students walk around with boners nor disrespect the nude models in sexual ways?  Once the mysticism is taken away (literally) and the familiarity sets in, they’re just bodies with no stigma.

Recognizing imperfections in your current artwork

is a positive thing.

They’re the base of what you can improve upon and the guide to where you can focus on your next piece.

re: transphobic term

I got a message regarding the term “gender bender” being transphobic so I edited my last stardew valley posting with the term “cis swap” that was suggested.

I had no idea that term is problematic and there was no ill intention :/

Mods for Stardew Valley

Several people asked me regarding creating Mods for Stardew Valley using the portrait images I made for the last posting. To answer broadly, while I’m crazy busy for the next few weeks, I am interested in partnering up with someone who can pick up the coding part..*once my crunch time is over.*

In terms of Portrait-Only Mod, without altering the cannon gender, It’s more doable and I’m up for creating the the expression portraits if there is someone who’s willing to do the coding part of it.

In terms of Gender altering Mod, It’s a lot more work and complicated because quite a lot of the different elements like portraits, spirits, dialogues, and character names need to be altered. For example, gender specific dialogues need to be changed between “he/she” and the wedding dialogues amongst “husband and husband, wife and wife and husband and wife”. So not as likely but if someone can do the coding+ text changes I might be up for the graphic works… yarp, It’s a lot of work lol

Walking

Walking is a series of controlled falling.
Without falling, one can not learn to walk.
So forbidding a baby from falling at all is same as forbidding them from walking all together.

…even grown-ups need to experience mistakes in order to make better choices.
