they say the only difference between medicine and poison is the dosage, and i think that’s my thesis statement re: aggressive restoration. a living organism is constantly striving to retain balance, and if that balance is overly compromised, then it will die.

like take blood pressure, for example.

if your blood pressure is low, you might be prescribed medication to raise it. in the field in the elder scrolls, you might use a restoration spell to restore it. but if it’s restored too much, then, well…

take a few medical liberties with the speed of the increase and you’ll have a massive fatal stroke on your hands. in fact, high blood pressure is the primary cause of hemmorhagic strokes, which are fatal if the bleeding doesn’t stop.

Now that I’ve been playing eso, I can confidently add that the elves do not look weird enough in eso. They are too pretty. They should looks weird
