I just love the differences in attack animations. wish we could’ve seen at least Grant wielding the Transistor, too! Skype chat has some opinions on the Camerata’s differences in how they use it haha

Gift for a friend who’s been feeling under the weather: Red from the game Transistor. I have no idea what the deal is with her fur collar thingy so I just doodled a ton of fur and called it a day.
Finally finished my “The Kiss”-inspired Transistor piece! I included some detail shots, the whole thing was done in Illustrator and is 100% vector except for the gold leaf photo (from here)
I’ll have it up as a print at some point, I’m printing and adding actual gold paint to the canvas print for the Otakon art show for those going/interested!
Still got 4 more pieces to make for the art show welp.
”Welcome, listeners.” My obsession with Transistor is slowly transforming into WTNV, what with Carlos still on the other side of the door and “Ghost Stories” by Charming Disaster stabbing me in the gut. So, I decided to make a crossover with the two radio hosts, as inspired by this post. Wave really doesn’t get enough recognition, and you don’t know pain when you have to paint his glorious jawline and nose from the front. I also suck at cityscapes, so I borrowed the in-game shot of Cloudbank until I can make my own. I was trying out littleulvar’s tutorial and it worked really well! I also really like his Cecil design! I dunno. I think Cloudbank could be a potential sister city to Night Vale. I think the radio might by CBPR (Cloudbank Public Radio). Or the suggested “Ten Again With Wave Tennegan!”Also, I can totally imagine Tennegan being voiced by Cecil Baldwin.
if you’ve played Transistor on Steam or in online mode (I am not sure how PS4 works) ever notice those pixelated blue ghost-images of people passing by you on Cloudbank’s streets?
those ‘ghosts’ are other players
and I think humming is a trigger to make those show up to other people playing the game? I… I have to experiment with this
Doodles for some dumbass AU I was talking at revorocketnails about. I saw some mechs and my mind did the thing. The concept I had was of what’re called ghost machines (or any suitably punny name) - with a pilot, and the co-pilot is sacrificial. They are integrated and their trace used to bind into the AI, which prevents Process interference and allows the pilot to use the core properly. So needless to say you want to know your ghost.
There were a few, which kept getting totalled. Grant had himself bound into one of the newer models, much to Asher’s… well, we’ll leave it at ‘dismay’. He spends most of his time in the cockpit, gradually losing contact with reality as he stays linked up.
Because of what they’ve been getting up to, Sybil gets Process sick and, in a ditch attempt to save her, our intrepid Transistor-discoverer has her bound in and becomes her pilot, despite Asher’s warnings otherwise. Turns out Asher was right, as the Process sickness overruns the entire machine - and her pilot. Royce regrets that he can’t leave the cockpit any more since they have ‘become one’, shortly before driving his tail through Asher’s chest.
Fifth (05) here is a synthetic created in an attempt to avoid the need for killing people and jamming their trace into a machine-shaped soul jar. He’s aware that he is not human, but is kept carefully unaware of his nature as a Process at Royce’s behest. Seeing his minder bring back Cluckers and do uncomfortable things to them to see how it works fills him with an uneasiness that he has trouble explaining, and he has peculiar dreams told in snapshots and dogs-eye views.
omygosh I just finished watching the Transistor gameplay and it’s so gorgeous. So here’s some sneak peakies of my poster sized Transistor fanart I’ll be selling at Fanexpo!
And guys srsly do yourselves a favour and listen to the soundtrack
