Some stuff of my little design for ‘Fifth’, or the missing fifth assassin. swordboyfriend was very encouraging about him so here we are.
An assailant with the appearance of a red-headed man in his early twenties, scarred across the throat. On closer inspection he has a Process’ orb - eye, perhaps - in the centre of his chest, though finding out what’s behind it would probably be lethal, so his innards are unknown pending X-ray.
When distressed his human appearance degenerates to varied extents, usually manifesting as paler skin, multiple sets of eyes in unsociable places and thin, extended limbs. He is difficult to look at in this state as his outline is unstable.
He is able to speak, but does so rarely and in a distorted version of the addressee’s voice and accent, regardless of sex and age. It’s not yet known if one hears his voice as one’s own at all times, or if his voice does alter.
Supposedly non-hostile unless provoked, though certain high-profile targets in possession of sensitive information may just have seen a tall and hazy figure in their final moments.
