there’s a handful of unused animation files that weren’t removed, including these three unused attack animations for Red.
I probably should have clarified in this post that this is one of these unused animations; that one is obviously an earlier design of Red and the Transistor (note Red’s hairstyle, for one!). there’s one other animation that uses this design of Red (it’s really goofy and awful).

anyway these three attack animations are interesting! I urge you to click on each and view them at full size; particularly how in the third one Red doesn’t actually touch the Transistor at first.

it seems like they decided to have her use the Transistor less like a bladed weapon, as her final attack animations only feature one ‘slashing’ move (also worth noting the contrast of Red’s use of the Transistor compared to Royce’s).
