Okay, sorry for my asks being so close together, but I just found this AU and have so many questions! This one is for Sans. We know what you would do if Papyrus ever attacked Aliza, but what if it was the other way around? What would happen if Aliza succumbed to the Hunger? Would she lash out and attack you and Papyrus? Or would it be different considering she’s half human? If she did become violent, could you handle hurting her to save yourself or your brother?
“…i worry about that every day. i can see the hunger taking her, too, more and more every day… and if i can’t get her out of the underground in time, if she turns like the others, if she can’t cope… i’ll do what i have to do to help her. she’s my little girl… i’d do anything to keep her safe. …even take away her freedom, for her own safety.”
Given that there are possibly multiple iterations of axetale, how different would a version of axetale sans who never experienced an attempted genocide run be when compared to normal axetale sans when it comes to personality and history?
A Sans that didn’t experience a genocide run wouldn’t have gone after Papyrus when he followed Frisk as she went to confront Asgore, and wouldn’t have been present to stop Flowey from taking the souls the first time. What would have resulted from such a scenario would have been a classic neutral run as we know it.
Okay so... i have lots and LOTS of questions, since i kinda got inspiration of this AU for a small OC i made, but i only have one important question in mind right now.
If you got the souls out of flowey, and consume them yourself, not fuse with them, but consume them as “eating a soul”, what would happen?
Would your mind be torn apart by the amount of memories of the souls? By the insanity in them? Would they take control of you and begin a fight to see which side wins, the insane or the sane?
Or would nothing actually happen since that entity or monster or human that consumes them has an iron will?
Well. Um. I don’t know how anyone would go about eating a soul, honestly, they’re not exactly solid matter, so I don’t really know. If it were a monster, I assume it would be assimilated like other magical food, but the stress of consuming even one human soul, the sheer amount of power it would infuse all at once in a way not meant to be… I can’t imagine they would survive that. A human would certainly die from the overload of foreign magic.
But for the sake of hypotheticals, I suppose the corruption they have been infused with, from the very source of the Glitch itself and Flowey’s own madness, would drive anyone instantly and completely insane.

“I, um… I don’t really know how it works? Daddy says it’s a reflection of my soul’s indecision, since it hasn’t decided what my core trait is yet… I do know it changes depending on how I’m feeling, though. The most common colors are blue, when I’m happy or normal, yellow when I’m surprised or worried, and red when I’m mad or scared. I’ve seen purple sometimes too, though, and one time orange. Hehe… they wheel-y can’t make up their mind. …like the color wheel. Okay, that was bad.”

I haven't logged into Tumblr for a while and saw that the axetale wiki was deleted. Will there be a new wiki. If so, when?
There will be, when I have the time to redo it. I have better, more interesting projects to work on at the moment, however, so it’ll probably be quite some time.
Everyday I am reminded of how much I love this au and all the thought that went into it. Just wanting to give some love, I'll be on my little potato way now hhhh <3
Hey sans, what’s the normal daily routine for you and the family?
“i generally patrol the village, to make sure nothing messed with the defenses during the night and that the trees haven’t moved any closer, pay off the riverperson for the day, then go to get my family up. i wake pap up first, to make sure it’s a good day, help him get dressed if he needs it. get ‘liza up after that, check how far the hunger’s progressed in her, and then we head out to “upkeep the puzzles”. meaning, pap messes around with some of the older traps, my daughter keeps an eye on him and works on some of her own, and i go check mine to see if i’ve caught anyone. if i have, i put ‘em on ice- hang ‘em up in the shed- ‘til night falls, and then collect pap and ‘liza and take ‘em home. pap watches his shows during the afternoon, so i turn on the generator for a little while so he can, and take my girl out to teach her self-defense and magic. give her some reading homework after that, and go out to collect wood for the fire and make sure nothing needs repairs, sometimes go out to the dump to salvage stuff. if it’s a food day, we have dinner after that, i put pap to bed and hang out with aliza for awhile til it’s time for her to sleep… and then i go out to harvest anyone i caught that day. takes a couple hours, and after i’m done with them i clean up and either sit around in the basement or try to find something i haven’t read yet. things change here and there, but most days are like that.”
“to be fair, it was a stupid question. anyone would miss their friends, kid. i’m not totally heartless, even in the metaphorical sense.”
“not personally, no. but there are plenty of friends i used to have that i did. when it’s between them and me, my family and starvation, sentiment doesn’t mean all that much. i do what i have to do to keep my own safe and alive. no matter how much it hurts.”
“Um… um… don’t tell daddy, he’ll be so mad, but… yeah. Sometimes, when he goes out at night, I sneak out and walk around the village. Never outside the fence! I just need some time by myself sometimes and… I love him, but… my dad hovers a little bit. I understand why, but it can be really stifling.”
“you really think i’m not aware? i know everything that goes on in my town; i’ve got to, can’t have vermin sneaking in and taking a bite of my family while i’m away.”
He chuckles, smiling fondly.
“she’s not as sneaky as she thinks she is, just brushing over her footprints with a branch to hide them… but i let her think she’s outsmarted me on this one. it’ll give her confidence, and it’s honestly rather harmless, as far as rebellions go. she’s safe within the walls, and if she needs a bit of a breather, i can’t blame her for that.”

This might sound obvious, but is the reason Sans clings to Aliza so much is because she looks like Frisk?
Partially. He also clings because she’s his daughter, his baby girl, his precious angel. One half of his only surviving family, and all he has left of his wife. To lose her would be the end of him. So, he tries to be a good and fair parent… but he’s terrified to let her out of his sight.
Last time he let someone he loved go, they never came back. You understand his hesitance.
