“i’d take back everything i said and did to aliza, when she first fell. she says she’s forgiven me… but i haven’t. …she didn’t deserve it. any of it.”
Question for sans, Being in the underground can be pretty overwhelming to say the least, do you have any good tricks that might cheer up or comfort Aliza when she's having a really bad day?
“funny enough, she has a taste for bad jokes just like her old man. can’t go out to the ruin doors anymore, but i showed her the joys of going around town knocking on people’s doors to tell some truly terrible puns. finding something to laugh and smile about, even knock knock jokes, is important now. otherwise, things start to get to you.”
He chuckles quietly, shrugging one shoulder.
“if that can’t cheer her up, she likes having me read to her, or tell her about… before. dunno why, but listening to me talk seems to help her. …i’ll never shut up again if it keeps her happy. not really a problem for me, heh… i just want my little girl to be alright. anything that helps keep her that way is good in my books.”
Sans how did you find out that it hurts aliza if you hurt ruby......?

So, Sans, didn't you first try to eat Papyrus? How did you manage to control yourself back then, and now? *Gives Sans a fridge full of delicious food* Also, you are legit the best person ever, taking care of Aliza and Paps even though your world is horribly cruel to everyone in it!
“if i’m honest… i don’t know. pap is a special kind of person… he was always able to reach people, even in the toughest of times. its a gift of his. so i’m not surprised he managed to pull me out of a feeding frenzy. preventing myself from doing it again, though… that’s the hard part. hope it never gets there again, cuz honestly… i don’t think he has the presence of mind to stop me now.”
He looks sullen at the thought, his mouth a slice of discontent.
“i appreciate the gesture and the sentiment, kid… but you’re wrong. even if i say i’m just doing my best, is it really true? couldn’t i be trying harder? couldn’t i have found a different way, other than murdering and eating my friends? …it doesn’t really bother me, not anymore, but it should. and that’s not good. not good at all.”
His unhappiness is now cold bitterness, sneering down at the toes of his shoes.
“frisk would never forgive me for what i’ve become, what i’ve done to stay alive. and she’d be right to.”
Does Sans hate Undyne? Was she the one who caused his injury?
“hate? nah. in fact, i’d love to give her a big ol’ hug for caving my skull in. made my life much easier.”
He scoffs, sending you a bland look.
“i don’t hate her, no. we never got along, not really, and i don’t really appreciate the head trauma… but she keeps it together for pap, and that’s asking a lot, in this place. she gets some brownie points for that.”
😭 I'd do anything for you guys to have a happy ending, I really would. You guys don't deserve the pain you've been through – you're all too good for that. And Sans, just know that I don't think Frisk would ever blame you for how you are now. She wouldn't hate you for it. You're an AMAZING father and brother and you're doing your absolutely best. Just stay determined okay? I know everything's gone to shit, but things will work itself out one way or another. Tell Aliza and Paps I said hi! 😊
