“her magic is… formidable, but untrained. she’s a danger to herself in her state. like… she can do things like summon bones, conjure fire, and yeah, teleport, but it takes so much out of her and stresses her body so much that it’d make her useless in an actual battle. she needs a lot more practice and training.”

“she’s been doing so good. her training is really coming along… i honestly think she’s gonna be stronger than i ever was, no problem. she’s something else…”

“she’s disappointed with her progress, of course… she expects so much of herself. but for someone of her age, just a baby by monster standards, and raised without knowing how to control her abilities… she’s doing amazingly.”
If Frisk absorbed Toriel’s soul to pass through the Barrier, what happened to Toriel’s soul? Did it shatter when Frisk went through the barrier or when Frisk died?
Toriel kept Frisk alive throughout her pregnancy, in the absence of Sans’ assistance. Her soul was expended just before Aliza’s birth, her residual magic expired from the tireless work of sustaining a sorcerer’s demands for magic. It wasn’t enough to spare Frisk, unfortunately.

“i was ecstatic; never been happier. we were trying, so it wasn’t a surprise… but creating life from nothing, from pure magic, is difficult in the extreme. it was… so wonderful, to feel that little soul blossom into life, knowing we had made it together. our baby… the only one of her kind born in two thousand years.”
He smiled wistfully, hand rising to cup the locket strung around his neck.
“as for how we knew… well. it was kinda my job, once, to feel out souls. find and reach them, judge them and their deeds and all that. i felt it the moment she came into existence.”
What color is Aliza's soul?

Anyways! Aliza’s soul is, very, very basically, a human one, though it lacks the ability to hold great quantities of determination, as her body is still made of pure magic. Thus, it is right side up, as well as almost completely colorless, like that of her father’s people! I do say almost, because one day, it will have a trait, though definitively lighter in shade than a human’s, and glows, even now, with that potential.
As of our place in the story and universe, her soul is still too young to have settled on a certain trait, though. It vascilates between them at the moment, feeling them and her place in the universe out.
It is of note, however, that she seems to possess a great deal of perseverence~
