Nero has a preference for bitter and spicy flavours over other tastes, and occasionally a sweet flavour in combination. He likes it even better if he can find these flavours in something meaty.

Over time, under Marazhai’s influence, he added some torture devices to his quarters. Hooks and handcuffs on chains were hung around as decorations that could also be used for their intended purpose. His servants kept everything tidy, cleaning up any blood or human remains.
He removed anything that reminded him of his predecessor, replacing her trophies with his own. However, he left furniture like bed and table untouched.
