Danrok tells me that keeping up with my correspondence and maintaining good relationships within the bloodline is part of being a noble lady. Well, I’m not much of a lady as you well know… but that’s alright. I’m not sending out this karking message because I need to be political or noble.

The fall after the Magnae Accessio was hard - but they underestimated how familiar the Rogue Trader was with despair.
With a Crime Lord background Rogue Trader I liked to imagine that there was a sense of understanding in Commoragh. They had to steal, kill, lie, grovel, backstab and use any opportunity. There is no room for morals. There is only survival. Also Laika gets more grey hair with every torture session. Please stop hurting my little criminal.
Yes Heinrix got broken out of his cage by an absolutely feral Rogue Trader and somehow that did it for him. How can you not love someone who crawled out of their grave to make it back to you.

“They danced like they had done before and yet, everything was different now. It was overwhelming, and she noticed how her insecurities made her body tremble. Another whisper.
“Venria, look at me.” She forced her gaze away from her surroundings, concentrating only on Heinrix. “Good, keep at it. It is just the two of us – just like before.”
He kept on talking with her, distracting her from her surroundings and even making her laugh in between. Towards the end of the dance, she was smiling brightly at him, while his response had been a cautious one.
Before it ended, she heard him whisper even more quietly than before, “I need to talk to you in private.””
