I’ve been calling the head tubes “neural shunts” but I don’t remember where I picked that up as a phrase. It gets the point across though.
Oooh, I like that. I know neural inhibitors are a thing, but I think those are more likely augments than tubes.
I like the fancier ones that Primaris psykers wear sometimes and I definitely believe my girl wore one to her Magnae Accessio.
sharing a bit of excerpts from Witchbringer - there’s a scene where more failsafe installed in her before sending her to the frontline. they also acted as a way to nullify incoming psychic forces or an attack as well. so it both preventing psyker to explode or get exploded by another psychic attack.
there’s more designs of psyker collar in 40k Darktide too, gotta love the design in that game
