We love Yo Gabba Gabba. And I love DJ Lance. These are some drawings I did after talking to series creator Christian Jacobs and getting really inspired. One of the best days of our life. The first time we saw My Chemical Romance live. And it was so fucking amazing. Thrice and Circa Survive were the opening bands. The show started with Thank You for the Venom, and ended with Helena. They played all of the Three Cheers songs, and Our Lady of Sorrows and Honey, This Mirror Isn’t Big Enough for the Two of Us from Bullets. They also played the Shut Up (And Play), which is now Disenchanted. They talked about cell phones being the new lighters and to never give in to other people, to never bully, and to never resort to suicide or violence. And for the encore, they all came out in Santa hats. All in all, a fucking fantastic day and I wish we could replay it over and over again.

This was our first MCR show in 2005. I’m so happy I found this! I’ve been trying to find them in their Santa hats for awhile now. They came out at the end wearing their hats. It was fantastic.
