So I got to the MAG 173 “NIght Night”, which is, you know, called that, and I thought “How is Jonny going to say the title in his Ominous Title Voice with a straight face?” I mean, he probably could, but I like how he circumvented the problem.

Because he kind of has two different pitches when doing a statement. There’s the regular kind, which is lower, and there’s the “this is especially eerie” higher tone, which he kind of uses to accentuate stuff. (I feel like he uses that tone more in Season 5 and that’s why these sound more…intimate. Besides them also being in second person a lot of the time.)

So he used the second tone for the title, which he doesn’t usually. And then he didn’t have to do it in his Serious Voice and he made it sound creepy since that’s the Especially Creepy voice.

(In other news of Jonny’s voice acting skill, I was listening to 169: Fire Escape while folding laundry so I had something to do while listening to the podcast, and then I couldn’t do the laundry because I was concentrating so much on the podcast. I don’t even know how he did that. Again, *claps*.)
