Is the Magnus Institute being founded in 1818 a nod to Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein being published in 1818?

Edit: I won’t change the actual post itself, but I meant something like ‘it’s cool that those two things match up’ and didn’t really execute. I do, however, appreciate the answer to my question.
