Okay, I need the TMA fandom’s help to find a fic again. 

I think it was all one chapter but may not have been. In any case, it was very long. I still read it all in one go. 

Anyway, it was Jon season 4 (I guess? definitely a canon divergence) and he sort of gives into his avatarness and gets all eldritch-y and then the Instittute blows up or burns down or something. And then he leaves and just…gets more eldritch-y. He eventually meets Oliver who’s like “you have a choice”. He also wanders around and possibly goes to America and tries not to be too openly eldritch. (Just realized eldritch was already an adjective, no need to say eldritch-y.) 

He writes poems on himself (I think he was also writing statements on himself) and the poetry…leads him to Martin? Who was also writing poetry somewhere? I’m not entirely sure, since I was reading this all in one go on my phone and getting a bit tired of it at the end. 

He goes to Georgie’s house first though to be like “yeah okay I have to stop being too eldritch and I gotta go find Martin”. It had lots of quotes of poetry, including Keats. There was definitely “Bright Star” in there. 

The fic definitely had a dark/melancholy tone to it up until Jon and Martin reunite and then they’re happy. So it has a good ending. 

I don’t know why I don’t bookmark things…
