Times Jon Was Smart
…an incomplete list, as this is off the top of my head. Add on in the notes, I guess!
- breaking the table (as it is genre-savvy)
- figuring out where Gertrude kept her laptop by the squeak of a floorboard
- keeping Trevor from killing Martin so he could be used as bait without any Beholding powers
- figuring out how to smite Helen
- remembering statements by number (MAG 33)
- being skeptical of the statements, honestly (to an extent—people do not get encased in spiderwebs just naturally, Jon, and I know why you were in denial about that one in particular—but, really, he’s in an academic institution. We know they’re supernatural because the summary of TMA is “a weekly horror fiction podcast”; meanwhile like ten percent? Less? Very few people encounter the fears in the world of TMA)
via dieanywherelseart: #also?? mans hid from the cops??? bro i know canonically they’re less likely to care about supernatural crimes#but jon managed to evade conviction as well as an avatar of the fucking hunt for ages#the surveillance in london is so cracked out i have no idea how he managed to do that#with like NO premeditiation either???#mans can really think on his feet like i would just cry Yeah, that’s true! I didn’t think about the surveilance part since we get that fact until like MAG 189 (and I don’t live anywhere near London, or England, or Europe).
