Ooh new headcanon just dropped (this is what it feels like sometimes, honestly)

In Season 5 normally, Jon looks like just Some Guy. Old jeans and a Mechanisms T-shirt with a sweater vest from 2016 over it. 5′2″. Hasn’t slept in ỷ̵̱ë̴́ͅa̷͕͒r̶̲̆ŝ̶͜ (corrupted because Time Does Not Work; says years).

But when he’s about to smite someone, he changes appearance. He’s suddenly wearing a long olive-green robe, floating in the air. Eyes open all around him and on him, but he looks…more real. A terrifying image of perfection, like a god. Invincible and omnipotent and more alive than anything could possibly be. Too perfect, too powerful, even.

(Martin thinks Jon looks amazing. This is obviously the real reason he advocated for more smiting.)
