“What if Annabelle went Full Spooky because she didn’t want Jon to pick her option as part of her plan?”

It’s weird that she turned into some scary spider monster. Wouldn’t that make Jon want to run for his life, especially if he wasn’t the Archivist? I mean, since he has that power, he nearly uses it to kill her. This should not make Jon trust her.

She says they will expect a show and drama and stuff. Which…maybe? Jon saw Annabelle in human form already, at Salesa’s. Now, perhaps Basira would expect a scary spider monster thing. I don’t know. Perhaps she was lying. (Perhaps you know the reason I’m saying perhaps so much.)

Anyway, this would not make Jon trust Annabelle. So maybe that was her plan. It would sort of make sense what with the lighter. Because why would the lighter go to Georgie if, up until the night before, everyone was planning to do the Web’s plan? Jon could have held on to it.

But Annabelle can plan. Jon was probably never going to do the Web’s plan. So she makes sure he never does. Whether she actually wants them to try Jon’s plan and the lighter/the Web moves against her and makes it so the Web wins, or Annabelle wants to do the Web’s plan, that’s up to you, I guess. I don’t know. We never asked her what she wants to do, did we?
