There was this one post that was talking about how Elias’s accent is supposed to be like, an ultra-pretentious version of an RP accent. (Does someone have easy access to that post, by the way, I want to find it again. It was talking about Martin’s accent too, how Northern accents vs. RP and extra-snooty RP are perceived in terms of class.)

But anyway, my point was that in a British podcast, they still had the ‘villain has an RP accent’ trope, just because Elias’s accent is extra snooty. The protagonist has an RP accent and the villian basically has an ultra-RP accent.
