Pretty sure Jon would be the type of kid to, upon someone telling him not to look directly at the sun, look directly at the sun. He also went and looked at the Dark Sun.

So, now I’m imagining:

Martin, to their adopted kid Somewhere Else: Don’t look directly into the sun!

Jon: Oh, it’s fine. I’ve looked into suns before and I was fine! One time the sun exploded.

Kid: Cool!
