You know how the Head Archivist for the Pu Songling Institute calls Jon the architect? I thought of a funny in-universe explanation.

Jonah is talking to her for some reason, and he says ‘Ah, yes, my archivist will be the architect of the new world’ and she thinks that Jonah (because he’d want to seem better than everyone else) instead of calling Jon an archivist, actually calls him an architect.

The Eye translates the word correctly for Jon. He’s confused, but he doesn’t mind because at least he’s not called the Archivist again.
