The End is a really interesting Fear because it’s so passive, it’s still just…the Grim Reaper. It’s so simple, not some nuanced thing like the Web or the Stranger.

Like, the others are present in other things (hence people assigning other works Fears), but most of them haven’t been presented this way, I think? I mean, this is a very innovative idea, I think, gods of fear that are fear and are incomprehensible. But then Death is still just Death. It needs no elaboration, I suppose.
