It’s super interesting that Jon finds all the horrific things not only horrifying but beautiful. The Dark Sun, the Unknowing, the Bone Garden, even being the Pupil.

Because on one level he’s terrified and he hates that people are getting hurt. And one another…he’s not enjoying it, exactly, but he does think it’s beautiful.

It probably makes him hate himself more.
