Okay but I think Jon should actually get to be scary sometimes actually. Sure his first instinct is to be good to roll over, show his belly, unless he’s protecting someone else.
So Jon who is pregnant when he runs into hunters this time. They call him a monster and bare their teeth because the Hunt knows prey when they see it. And he is so very scared, fear practically pouring off in waves, broadcasting how terrified he is. He isn’t a fighter, but he can’t die here, and he is so very desperate.
Elias realizes too late that Jon is alone that the safeguards he put around him failed. Despite the haste at which he makes his way to where he last saw Jon, expects the worse. How many people he had professed to care about had he let die after all consumed by the Fears, while he just watched.
Instead he finds Jon, alive soaked in blood that isn’t his. Expression wild, knife clasped in one hand while his eyes, all of them glow a sickly green.
Jon breaking when he sees Elias, crying and shaking, as he’s swept into his arms. Carried back home, where it’s safe where Elias can protect his Archivist, he doesn’t bother to clean the blood away. Fucking him gently licking the blood from his cheek as he tells him how good he is, how proud he is of him.
