“A source of ignition in the Archives? Well that just won’t do,” Jon had no chance to pocket his lighter before Tim had snatched it from his hand, holding it over his head. Jon didn’t even try to reach for it, choosing to keep a little dignity, “And smoking in your office, such unprofessional behavior.”
“I think you’re the last one who gets to chide me for smoking,” Jon sighed gesturing to Tim and then to the burn marks on his desk with the unlit cigarette. Elias had told him that as long as the desk was still standing he wasn’t going to replace it, Tim’s suggestion of taking it up to his office and setting it on fire had been considered, though his second suggestion to continue the activities that had led to it being singed on Elias’s desk had not, well not seriously anyway. Placing the aforementioned cigarette between his teeth he held his hand out for the lighter “Besides the last time I left the office to smoke I was framed for murder if you remember.”
