sparks-out:

One of the many many ways in which Jon and Elias are compatible is that they both have complimentary rape kinks.

Elias likes the idea of being in complete control, of being the only one who decides what happens and when, both to his body and his partner’s body. However I also think something about the idea of being powerless thrills and excites him, not despite but because of how much he fears it. The idea of having no control over what happens to him of being at someone else’s mercy like that, the threat of further violence or even death… it frightens him and makes him hard in equal measure to imagine. What if he was helpless and powerless and someone else was in control but it was safe? I think if he ever decided to act out his rape kink with another person he’d choose the dominant role. I can’t see him ceding that level of control or willingly being vulnerable enough with another person to explore a scenario where he has control taken from him, at least of his own initiative. I think, however, he’d be willing to indulge Jon <3

Jon is absolutely into having his control and agency ripped from him. Of someone else deciding to do everything he wants for him, and it’s not his fault and nobody can blame him because he tried to fight back, he didn’t want it, someone else made him do it. But also I think he’s similar to Elias in that he very very much sees an Appeal to being made helpless and vulnerable generally. What if he was hurt and used and had no control over what happened to him but it was okay because it was safe? But also I think there’s a part of him that would really appreciate the safety of being in control. Of finally being the one making someone else helpless. Of being in charge and untouchable and powerful and maybe sometimes he wonders what it would be like to have Elias at his mercy. To have Elias begging for him to help, to stop. Naturally he feels a deep, intense sense of guilt for fetishizing about something so awful, for fantasizing about committing one of the worst acts of violence it is possible to do to another person. But that doesn’t stop his mind from wandering the same deep, dark paths, when he’s tired and lonely and aroused and thinking too much about too many things to go back to sleep.
