I think Jon generally needs at least Some kink in his sex (although honestly I imagine it’s less “incorporating kink into his sex” and more “incorporating sex into his kink”) but there is No universe where he’s at all safe about it. If he has to sit down and actually communicate his desires he’s going to Bolt and even if he didn’t you’d never get the whole picture anyway. Once during uni when he was feeling Very Very brave he tried going to some local kink club, spent about ten minutes dithering on the sidewalk across the street from it, noticed someone looking at him, and then turned around and speedwalked away.
