Gerry leaving on a mission with Gertrude leaving Jon alone for a bit. Jon upset because he and Gerry are always together, but he doesn’t want Jon involved in the Institute. Jon ignoring that Gerry specifically does not want him at the Institute he goes there and bumps into Elias. I just think tangling all three of them together and Gerry and Elias playing metaphorical tug of war with Jon is neat.
