Jonah needs to degrade Jon in the most loving way possible. God I love Jonah calling him pathetic and weak, while holding him close and letting his hair. Just needling all those little insecurities, of course Jon can’t take care of this himself, of course he needs Jonah. Jon trying to refute it but Jonah just tramples over his words and undermines any budding self confidence. Jonah making Jon reliant on him, because ‘really Jon only I could ever love such a pathetic little monster.’
